2dtoys custom Superman figure

The head and neck and cape are from the DC Direct Superman. The shoulders, and chest come from Kraven. The arms, abs, and waist joint come from SOTA's Ryu. The hips and upper thighs are from a Marvel Legends Black Panther, the lower legs are once again Kraven's. And the hands are from Vega from Street Fighter. Slapped them together, dremeled them down, and sculpted over everything. The "S" insignia was handpainted. Superman's prolly the only dude who can get away with wearing bright tights in the real world so I tried to lessen the sculpted musculature and make them look like real tights.

Some of you might notice from the WIP pics that the hips are from Ryu as well. I tried them at first since I was extremely intrigued with the articulation design of Ryu's hips and was excited to be able to try them out on a custom. It was only later on did I realize that their design didn't lend well to a dude in tights, and after lying to myself for several months thinking they work, the wise and old (very old) Samuron from the Fwoosh, finally convinced me to change them. So I changed them to the Black Panther hips you see to the left. I used just enough of those hips to make sure he was still in perfect scale as before.

Thanks to Robokillah for giving me an armless Kraven, which then forced me to find a use for it.
