It was brought to my attention earlier this year that the previous Wonder Woman I made didn't really fit in with the rest of my custom League. And as much as I love that voluptuous version, I really did need one that fits better with the generic comic quality I had already established. So it was high time to move on and experiment with the glut of Mystique figures available and see what can be done with that figure. I still wanted to make her look powerful like a larger than life goddess, just with smaller breasts. Kinda.

The head is Mystique's with a sculpted top hair and the bottom hair of Elektra for poseability. The belt is sculpted over Mystique's waist enabling it to still turn and at the same time hide that cut. From the forearms down I used Elektra's hands. They still turn at the wrist, hidden by bracelet sculpt. I took apart Mystique's shoulders and widened them per usual to make her shoulders broader. My least favorite stage in this hobby is sculpting around articulation. Coz sometimes the original articulation of the figure won't make it work. It's like working backwards in away. Mystique's shoulders proved troublesome as I sliced and cut off the plastic on the shoulders/bicep area to ensure that the sculpted on parts are still able to move with the exact same range of motion. From the mid thigh to the ankle I used the legs from a Marvel Legends Elektra. The boot points are sculpted over the thigh cut enabling that joint to function properly and still turn. The ankles come from a ML Storm.

Thanks to actionfiguresrule for offering some valuable input and gettin me off me bum and finishing this one.
