I started this last year, using a Brainiac figure and there it sat, languishing for months along with my other half-finished animated stuff. But the release of the new Lex figure rejuvinated my interest enough to complete it. 

     I dremeled down Brainiac's arms and legs and resculpted them along with the torso, with epoxy putty.  The shoulderpads, neckpiece and boots came from the Mattel's Lex figure.  The left hand was replaced with a hand from my parts bin.  The head was sculpted with Super Sculpey since I wanted him to have a different facial expression to represent this mad scientist phase.
