I bought the TNA Jeff Hardy figure and was flipping through some WildC.A.T.S 3.0 tradepaperbacks in the bookstore when I thought that Matt had a resemblance to the squinty eyed rendition of Cole Cash ( I forgot who the artist was that drew it).
I ripped his hair off, dremeled away his arm stockings, resculpted the arms and gave him new trigger hands from the parts bin. I really didn't like the way the figure's legs were designed, so I cut them off at the thigh, repositioned them, and resculpted them with Epoxy Putty. The boots came from a Resident Evil figure and still twists at the calf. I wanted a removeable mask so it was done with the usual epoxy method. As usual I covered the entire already painted face with superglue so the paint won't chip off because of the mask, then sprayed his noggin with dullcote to get rid of the sheen. Then comes my second favorite part of this hobby (right after drilling tiny holes)- gluing random crap on. The shoulder holsters, belt and crap came from the parts bin. I wanna do more non spandexy characters just so I can glue stuff more often. I forgot to take a work in progress picture.
