Out of all the hotties in GI Joe, Lady Jaye was my favorite. Mebbe it was the smoky Kathleen Turner voice, who knows.
She started out as a Marvel Legends Storm. I ripped the head off, dremeled her chest and forearms, trimmed her thigh highs at the thigh swivel with my X-acto, then pulled off her feet at the calf swivel. I then gave her the boots from an X-men Classics Gambit. I resculpted her breasts, and also sculpted the pouches and belts with Epoxy Putty. I would like to say I stylistically chose to use Epoxy Putty to sculpt the clothes for the nice gritty texture it leaves behind, but in reality I was just too lazy to sand or clean up anything afterwards. But um yea...the rough clothing provides a nice contrast to the smooth skin tones...or something...
The hands come from a Plan B figure I think. The gun and holster are from a Resident Evil figure, the knife was a GI Joe accessory with a sculpted sheath, the javelins were crossbow bolts from Lord of the Rings and the javelin holder was from a Marvel Legends Taskmaster. The big thick belt across her waist was also from Taskmaster's strap. The peg sticking out of that Taskmaster quiver has the unforseen but wonderful use of clipping her gun to the back.
The head was Mystique with the hair ripped off and a new hairdo sculpted with Apoxie Sculpt. I really shouldn't mention the hours I spent looking at InStyle magazines to get the hair right...for research....of course. The hat was from an X-men movie civilian Cyclops and yes there's still a hole in the top of the hat. Fuck it. I took a Work In Progress pic of her but in my haste to get things done I think I may have deleted it.
