2Dtoys' Snake Eyes GI Joe Figure

There's a lot of beautiful and better customs of Snake Eyes out there, so I wanted to try something different and used a Marvel Legends Iron Fist. I ripped out Iron Fist's shoulders, repositioned them, dremeled down his trapezius muscles and resculpted his head, traps and chest with epoxy putty. I sliced off Iron Fist's hands and replaced them with Deadpool so he can hold his weapons. Then it was just a matter of gluing crap to him. Most of it is cut belts and pouches from a Bullseye figure. The removeable knife came from a Plan B figure, the holster from a Movie Punisher. The grenade belt came from a Shadowrun figure which was dying to be used, the rest of its grenades were taken out and distributed to other Joes. The wrist arrow was something from the original design that I really wanted to incorporate, it was Scarlett's crossbow bolt from the newer GI Joe toylines that was shortened. I didnt want to paint him all black so I gave him a bluish tinge like the Palisades busts,which gives a nice nod to the cartoon colors.

I wanted to put the Arashikage symbol somewhere here but being faithful to the costume meant it had no place. I found a brilliant compromise after seeing the gorgeous Museum Replica of Snake Eyes' Sword, which had the Arashikage symbol on the blade. The sword came from a Gouf Gundam model kit that was dremeled down and resculpted to resemble the classic toy sword and a little bit of the Museum Replica. I wanted to give him a backpack, but something a lot thinner and less bulky than the original figure had, I have no idea where I found this thing, but it works. I also wanted to be able to store his weapons (so I don't lose them) therefore the sword slides into the backpack and the Uzi clips on his back courtesy of a Valor vs. Venom wrist clip thingy. I really need to find a better Uzi as this one was glued together from the parts bin.

Timber was just a wolf that came with Logan from the X2 movie line. When I was doing research I came across a model sheet for Timber from the cartoon so I ended up repainting him according to that.
