2D's custom AXM Emma Frost figure

This one was started back in 2004, and since the only source of female fodder back then was Elektra, I used the White Elektra from the Urban Legends box set. In yet another attempt to betterfy the Elektra hips, I used a Spider Sense Spider-man I think. I cut off Elektra at the abdomen and thighs and did a hip transplant. The face was slightly modified because I thought the Elektra head was kinda pretty.

But then, I got bored with it and I ended up submitting it to customcon 12 unpainted( I hope no one noticed). As the years passed new female fodder started showing up and thought she could benefit from a few sculpting touchups as well as using new parts that are now available. I sliced away her hands and feet and replaced them with hands from Psylocke and feet from SpiderWoman.

It was always my intention from the start to give her switchable heads, one of them portraying her headmistress look from Astonighing X-men #1, so rather than search for another White Elektra figure, I figured I'd just cast them. One head was molded and cast, then I dremeled off the hair, resculpted it, and made a casting of the new one as well.

The cape came from Moon Knight and is attached by a white elastic band that they use for craft jewelry. Creating the skirt was kinda troublesome, I had originally used the skirt of Eowyn from Lord of the Rings, and while it looked good, the paint would crack over the rubber skirt everytime I took it off and on. So I went with cloth. Not really fond of it but it works.
