Every year I force myself to use leftovers to ease my guilt of buying a figure for just one tiny usable piece. As I looked in the parts bin, I saw the headless, feetless Cassandra from the movie Scorpion King, whose feet I had used for my Girl One custom a few years back. Having just read the "Dangerous" story arc from Astonishing X-men, I thought that this horribly outdated figure might work for Danger with a little articulation modification. Even her oddly designed hips might actually be of use due to Danger's look.

I glued her waist articulation shut, covered it in epoxy, and trimmed around the boob articulation with an X-acto so it would preserve that lateral waist movement that I wanted and so that I wouldnt have to interrupt the flow of her abdomen sculpt with redundant articulation. She was drawn with broad shoulders in the comic and after my Marvel Legends Iceman fell apart on me last year, I decided to use his arms and feet. I attached them on and then sculpted the entire body with Epoxy Putty. The head was sculpted with Apoxie Sculpt

After everything was sculpted came my most favorite part in this hobby, drilling holes. No pleasure no rapture, no exquisite scent, can compare to the joys in drilling holes on plastic toys. For drilling holes with my trusty dremel can only inevitably lead to my second favorite part of this hobby- gluing shit on. I drilled the sculpt in places where the wires would fit in and then plugged in some twisty ties from packaging and glued them on. The hair was done the same way, but instead I used various cables that I was saving for another project. The wires circling her elbows were attached on the back of the elbow joint, so that it would actually have some give in the front, allowing her elbows to bend back and forth.
