The base figure was a Bug Buster Spiderman, a personal favorite with it's unique body sculpt.  The head came from the Gambit from the Xmen vs Streetfighter 2 packs.  Gambit has more hair showing this time around so the original figure's hair had to go and was dutifully replaced with epoxy putty.  The jacket itself is from a Metal Gear Solid 1 Revolver Ocelot shortened and dremeled to fit..  The boots were donated by  the short Diamond Dallas Page figure.  The sleeves, belts, kneepads, jacket collar  and such came  from epoxy putty.  The straps were styrene strips.

 I also wanted Gambit to be able to hold a quarterstaff that I'm never going to make so I used the right hand from a Super Shooters Colossus figure.  I lopped off the base figs' closed fist and drilled a hole in the stump.  I plugged Colossus's hand in with the original peg intact and was still able to maintain wrist articulation with it's snug fit.
