The base figure is a Face Off Captain America, with the head of an X-men Classics Cyclops. The one Classics Cyclops I had got turned into another Cyclops custom, so I ended up getting the Cyclops that comes with the motorcycle that's in stores now, as it's head was the same exact mold as the Classics Cyclops. But it turned out the Motorcycle head was alot bigger than the Classics head. So I dug out the custom that used the Classics head and resculpted his hair with Apoxie Sculpt.

I dremeled away nearly everything on the Captain America figure and resculpted everything, even the extraneous pouches and straps, with epoxy putty. I must admit it was fun using some trademark Jim Lee proportions and anatomy as a guide. I ended up shortening the forearms by slicing a chunk from the wrists, and gluing them back on. The scupted straps from epoxy putty provided the strength and durability it needed to stay on. I ended up shortening the length of Cap's feet as well, I sliced off a chunk, glued them back and resculpted the area with Epoxy putty. Like the Psylocke I had done a few years back, I painted his costume with pearlized paint, as it seems to fit the art back in the 90's.

I'm not really a fan of this costume nor this era of X-men, but sometimes you end up learning more when you do a take on something you hate.
