I was wondering what else I could use Ultimate Muscle figures for then I noticed that King Muscle's trapezoidal pectorals were similar to the way Kia Asamiya drew pecs in his brief stint on Xmen.   Because of it's build with relation to Marvel Legends, I decided to make Northstar.  

The shoes were made from epoxy putty.  I ended up thinning the legs abit and smoothing away the musculature as well as lengthening the calves because Asamiya draws his characters with long legs.  The head was made from Super Sculpey with hair from epoxy putty.  I wanted to give the yellow lining in his costume a 3d feel so I used styrene strips for them.  The red visor was cut from a plastic envelope. Like my previous forays with this base, I sanded down the joints so that full mobility is intact and no paint rub occurs.
