I couldn't think of any good bases for an in-scale Wolverine so I used one from the Ninja X-men line. I cut off the head as well as the arms and lower legs. Ninja Wolvie was a lot more muscular than I liked so I dremeled away his shoulders, biceps and thighs. He was also a lot more hunched over for my tastes so I ended up cutting him in the waist and repositioned it at an angle. I covered up the saw scars with extra abdomen muscles courtesy of epoxy putty.
I then pegged the arms of WCW Buff Bagwell and feet from a movie Wolverine. The new pants and sleeves were made from epoxy putty. The jacket itself came from a Movie civilian Cyclops with the front pockets dremeled away. The belt buckle is an epoxy putty impression of a Gen X Jubilee belt buckle. I did the same impression for the X's on Wolvie's shoulders.
The face was made from super sculpey and took a number of tries to get it small enough to be in proportion to his body. I drilled small holes on the top of his head and plugged them with twisty ties for the "horns" of his hair. I then used epoxy putty for the hair to blend them in. The horns are still bendable and won't break off when I drop him.
He's still in scale and is noticeably shorter compared to Cyclops and White Queen. All he really needs right now are the finishing touches, his claws and his dogtags. I thought I had found the perfect dogtags for him courtesy of Liquid Snake from MGS but for the life of me I can't find them now.
