The Sentinel Attack Wolverine is easily my favorite Wolverine figure made thus far but since I just can't seem to stop makin figs of this Wolvie version, I thought I might as well alter him to fit my Frank Quitely inspired 6" New X-men group.

The coat came from a WCW Chris Jericho figure with the pouches dremeled off.  It was still abit big so I made cut vertical cuts in the side seams and glued them back to fit.  I attached the jacket using the old animated style trick of attaching capes,  I cut the original jacket to where the zipper at the top ends and then glueing that part on the figure's pecs, leaving the bottom of the jacket to move freely.  Also this way  his shoulders won't look bulky when I sculpted the shoulder details with epoxy putty.  To help smooth the transition from plumber's epoxy sculpt to plastic jacket I layered some Krazy glue over where they met.  After that dried, I sanded it all down to a nice smooth blend.   The ab joint is still able to move forward but it's now unable to move backward because I ended up sculpting an "X" design on the back.   The collar is toothpaste tube.  I dremeled the arms abit and resculpted sleeves for them.  I hid the forearm swivel along one of the horizontal stripes on the cuffs so it still works.

The head was an original sculpt done in the way of my previous versions, super sculpey, epoxy putty and twisty tie horns.  I'm just extremely relieved this time around that I didn't have to sculpt the head in a 5" small person scale, coz workin that small sucks.  I wanted to do a different claw interpretaion (razorblade look) so I used the bobby pin methods by Mundo.  Since he doesn't have the claw housings on the back of his hand, the claws are held in place with epoxy putty.  I find it hard to believe that I actually hated this costume when I first saw it.  But this'll hold me over till a version 4 next year.
